What the app collects

Breezy Star does not collect personal data through the app. The app has no account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, RevenueCat integration, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. It does not request your precise location; you choose a Singapore region manually.

Information stored on your Mac

Your selected regions, display preferences, alarm thresholds, sound choices, repeat counts, and alarm state are stored locally. Imported audio files, their names, and any folder-access permission bookmarks are used locally for alarm playback. These settings and files are not uploaded to Breezy Star. Open at Login and notification permissions are managed by macOS.

Air-quality requests

The app requests public PSI and PM2.5 readings directly from api-open.data.gov.sg. These requests do not include your manually selected region preferences, alarm settings, or imported audio files. As with any internet connection, the service receives network information such as your IP address and standard request information. Its handling of that information is governed by data.gov.sg’s privacy policy. Opening an external source or support link takes you to that service, which has its own privacy practices.

Purchases

Haze SG Menu Bar is a one-time paid download. Apple processes App Store payments. Breezy Star does not receive your card details through the app. Apple may provide developers with App Store sales reports and platform diagnostics according to your Apple settings and Apple’s policies. Support messages

If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you send. We use them to answer your request and investigate issues, and retain them only as needed for support and related recordkeeping. Do not send sensitive information or payment-card details. You can request deletion of your support correspondence by emailing us.

This website

This site uses no analytics scripts, advertising, tracking pixels, or forms. It is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical information such as visitor IP addresses to provide and secure hosting, as explained in GitHub’s privacy statement. Following links or emailing support involves the relevant external service.

Your controls

You can change notification and login permissions in System Settings and change app preferences from its menu. Uninstalling the app may leave local preferences or imported sound files on your Mac; contact support if you need help removing those files. There is no Breezy Star app account or cloud profile to delete.
